Amazingly, it is 9 years since the 72year old couple thread started.....

By implication, 81 year old couple, still alive and kicking, and wishing us all a wonderfully awesome Festive season

Right back at you guys from England.

If you think it is amazing on your end, think how it must feel on ours. Some how the math adds a couple of years, so correct age for both of us is 79. Do we feel like it? Hell yes. Would also like to add, may all your dreams and asperations come true in 2019.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both. I'm 74 and feel pretty good. Based on the last five years, I expect the next five to be a little more challenging so let us know how you are doing every once in a while.

I joined this site 1 day before you started this thread... hard to believe it has been that long, but time flies.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and all the folks here!

Merry Christmas, Lin and Dave! I was very happy to see you posting in. We continue to be busy around the Center of the Universe (in central IL). Staying busy keeps us going. May the New Year bring you continued blessings.

We had another issue with our website. Seems like some page URL's got shifted around. Perhaps the host had some server problems. Anyway it has been a long couple weeks to get it back the way it was. As I have mentioned before, all the images on this thread are hosted as part of the website.
I just went thru the thread and did not see any images missing as of today.
I would very much appreciate if anyone finds a problem that they bring it to our attention. Post it , or PM us. Thanks,
Stay warm , and go PATRIOTS.

This thread was mostly before I joined the GJ, but glad I stumbled across it. Very informative and inspiring; kudos to both of you for your vision, perseverance, and progress.

Absolutely Amazing build! I just spent my evening reading through it. Wish my dad was still here to share it with him. He, like you two, was an Old American craftsman who did things the old fashioned way. He built a few barns in his day without many power tools and was a master at doing everything solo. Wish I had paid more attention to what he was trying to teach me when I was a kid. Thanks for the memories.
