A small but rather weighty box arrived on my doorstep early this morning.
Thought i would share with you guys what was inside

Here's the spiel from the auction
These are some duplicates and double ups. Good old brands like sidchrome, Britool, Aplomb etc... 1/2 in drive

Is tommy bar another saying for breaker bar?
Nice score!
What are your plans for rust removal?
Electrolysis?

for use with box spanners

as per usual i take terrible photos
all but two or three are just dirty and stained with very light rust. So they should clean up nicely.
The others im planning on soaking in vinegar

Tommybars are literally bars that you can slide through the pre-drilled holes on breaker bars, extensions, sockets, and I suppose even box spanners (wrenches) like the OP already mentioned.

You must be somewhere from the UK?
I'd be really interested in seeing your vintage Britool box.
