Well pretty cool but at around 8 minutes in the camera shws the announcer is basically standing under the thing. I guess he has never seen a hydraulic line blow out.

Awesome, that TV show does all sorts of crazy stuff, people send in their acts and the contestants have to bet whether they can do this or not, the name of the show is Wetten Das meaning "Bet this".

How does someone start out doing something like that. "Hey the boss is gone for the day, check this out". :shocking:

how the heck did he get down?

The same way he got up, only I am sure it was just as nerve racking as it was going up.

The part where you really have to trust the people who built that device is when at the end he spins the entire platform around over and over.

Can you say that thing is over built, and built to last . . .

Way cool...I wonder if he any chance to practice?
I also liked the one ********** the women.
Thanks for the post.

Trust me they practiced that whole display probably hundreds of times on the ground, before even attempting to go up the odd 50-75 feet he did in that video.

That is one hallmark about Germans, and similar companies such as them. They test, prove, and practice over and over till there is no margin of error or safety on the line . . .
