My new Ranbuilt 10x8x3/4.5m shed is just up and its time to seal the slab.
... Yes, I wish I'd done the etch and first seal before it was built!
My slab is 32MPA with a hard machine polish (some gloss). I also have 'vermiseal' around the perimeter (steel/colorbond trim seals corrugated wall cladding to slab edge) so not lots of options for washing/flushing.
I will need to acid etch, but:
1. Don't want to loose too much of the smooth finish. I am sealing with a clear semi gloss (Auseal). They been advised to dilute way more than normal (50% rather than 10-20%) to allow better absorption on the 'tight' concrete surface)
2. I am worried about how to protect the colorbond from the acid (re vermiseal will allow liquid under it, but might be hard to really flush well) and
3. how to do a decent coupe of rinse cycles (only 2x roller doors for water to get out.
Any suggestions for a decent method I can use are greatly appreciated?
