Hey - long timer lurker, and first time poster.
I recently installed a Gree Vireo 2.5 ton mini-split in the workshop portion of my hangar. I am thrilled with how well it cools my 1000 sq-ft shop.
However, I was disappointed to discover that the included remote does not have the ability to program a daily schedule. Based on my research, it looks like I need to add a Gree XK76 wired programmable controller.
I've got the controller here now, but am a bit stumped trying to figure out where it connects to the indoor unit. The owners manual shows you how to connect the included terminated cable to the thermostat, but doesn't say squat about how to connection it to the mini-split system.
If all else fails, I'll contact GREE in the morning, but thought one of the resident HVAC experts might be able to give me some guidance quicker.
