I found this old spring loaded adjustable wrench going through tools last week.
Don't know if its for tubing, small pipes or what. Some research shows it was made by Marion-Craftman Co.. Sears bought the rights to the "CRAFTMAN" name from them for $500. The printing is very clear:
THE CRAFTMAN TOOL CO., CONNEAUT, O. PAT. NOV. 1907; and CRAFT 8 IN
Seems in excellent condition for 109 yrs. old. Anyone with any more info?

No info, other than I think you're correct about that being Marion-Craftsman (or could it be earlier, since the Marion name is not on there?) Very cool, very old hand tool. I hope someone else chimes in with more info. Welcome aboard!

Those came in several sizes. A word of caution - when you're playing with it keep your fingers away from the gears!

I have one about twice the size of yours on a display board but I didn't look into just what it was.
