Their rotary tools are great , the non Shcepach made one ( depending on the year ) works with Bosch 12v batteries as well. Unlike elsewhere in the world , Aldi don't sell spare batteries and chargers here in the US so it's very hit/miss.
I bought a 20v weed whacker from Aldi , included one battery , 1.5ah I think. I figured I use it twice a year for a specific task and that it would be ok with that battery , it isn't , I can't buy more batteries and it's a little frustrating.

Lidl too ,one recently opened up in Yonkers and unlike Aldi , Lidl sell batteries an to chargers for their tools and have a more consistent selection. They recently had $7 offset wrench sets 6-22mm , $25 creeper /chair and a few things. I have not bought any power tools from them and don't really plan to.

Sometimes I buy a 4v or 12v power tool from Aldi though especially now that I know which ones can fit Bosh batteries but won't buy anything 20v from them again.

I got a small 12 v drill off Aldi ...I love it because its so light .......it has no trouble driving metal screws into my new fence ........my major dislike of 18v tools is the heavy lump hanging off.
