Finally....540 Yards of fill..... 2 months of waiting on permits.... another 2 months of waiting for contractor.....

Footing excavation done.... forms built... Inspector passed... cement tomorrow.. Yipee!!!

30x50x12......... 2x6 construction, vinyl siding, 2 10x10 foot doors on front 1 8x8 on rear. Hope to be to lock up by mid October :)

I am thinking you should move it over 10'. another few months on permits and another 100 yards of fill should be nothing.

It won't go 10'. :D built as close to the edge of the property line as allowable.Five acres and the previous owner built the house 57' from the property line.....

I had to be 15' from the line... I am at 18'...... Empty acreage next door....so who knows when someone could build.:)

Foundation Forms in.... ready to pour in AM...... Had too much rain to pour for last few days.... Hope the weather holds for tomorrow :)

So the trusses were ordered a month and a half ago....... No trusses...
According to builder the truss manufacturer's crew quit on him....
Ughhhhhh

Scissor trusses? That is a good size shop, have fun with it.

Conventional 6/12 pitch trusses. Centre section will allow for storage...I priced out scissor trusses they were 50% higher than conventional trusses.

Snow Load rating is pretty high here!:D

Size wise it should be good for a few years.... But I cleared another 1/2 acre behind the shop just for future use.....
