My wife and I are purchasing a new home, and I decided I wanted to put down a high-quality floor in the two-car garage. I found this forum while researching all the different options that are out there, and I have to say thank you to all those that have shared their knowledge and experiences here. The decision wasn't easy, but in the end I decided the Epoxy-Coat product would best suit my specific needs.

I will be calling Christine early this week to put in my order. I will try to keep things updated here as we go along. We are planning to do a Beige base coat with brown-blend flakes, to rejection if possible, and a clear coat.

If this project turns out nearly as nicely as several of the others posted here, I have no doubt we'll be very satisfied with the results.

Placed my order today. I decided against my original plan to do the beige with brown blend flakes to rejection, and instead went with the gray base coat and will likely do a medium to heavy coat of the blue blend flakes. In the end, cost was the main factor in the decision. We have several other projects planned for the new house, and some are running a bit more expensive than planned, so I ultimately decided that a couple hundred dollars in flake just wasn't in the budget. No disappointment here though, as I was somewhat torn between the two options as it was.

Plan is to start prep work on the 30th, weather permitting....
