Another New Guy from MA

Hello all.

I have stumbled across this site several times over the last couple of years during Google searches while working on different projects. I figured as many times as I have read threads on this site I may as well join. So here I am.

I work in Hazardous Waste and Waste Water Management during the day and I have my own business doing Truck and Trailer Service nights and weekends.

I am always wrenching on, building or rebuilding something. I have found some useful information here during some of these projects. I look forward to looking through some of the different sections and contributing when I can.

MP: sounds like you are a busy guy. any pictures of some of your shop at home to share or old tools so you'll know how to post pictures? sounds like a dangerous job you have so be careful.

ask questions if you have any about the forum and we'll help you if we can or keep enjoying the reading. now that you are a member you can post questions if you have any or just give some positive comments to the guy writing the thread which we all could use once in a while to know someone is there reading our comments.

Thanks for the welcomes and yes I am busy, especially right now during spring. This winter was horrendous up here and a lot didn't happen that has to now so we are really backed up at the repair shop.

I will take some pics of both shops, home and work. Home is very packed right now with many current projects so it may be a good time for pics. I also recently picked up an old Snap On tool box full of tools so I will try to snap some pics of that too.

I have a couple of old tools too. Should I post the first pic here as a test? Or maybe in the test section?

MP: sure post up pictures of your stuff here because it's your thread. i use the paperclip just above where you are writing your posts to load pictures to a thread sort of like an email attachment. ask questions if you have any about the site and it looks like you are getting the hang of it already.

Hey now! No need to be bringing football into this! Being from the Pacific Northwest I suppose your team didn't make any bad calls at the end or anything like that...LOL

MP: just saying your weather might be a by product. Bad call or no bad call the deal the Patriots made with the devil still happened. can't explain it any other way because we have the best 3 yard gaining RB in the country on our team.

no hard feelings here because we'll win 10 more super bowls if our young team stays healthy. i know your team has been on the other side like the Seahawks were after that game, but it still wasn't easy to swallow. unless you were in the PNW with 60 degree weather in January and watching your area get 2 feet of snow for months on end.

No worries. All in good fun. The snow was the worst I have ever seen in that stretch of time and I have lived here almost 48 years.

Here are a few pics suggested by drivesitfar.

The first one is my home shop with several ongoing projects. Mainly the Sportster which is just about done but needs some cleaning up and fine tuning. The Truck which needs the engine reassembled and installed along with a little body work. Then the Partridge Family bike (AKA Miami Vice Bike) that belongs to a friend and hasn't run in four years.

I took some others but will put them in other threads where they will fit better.

This one is my work shop. A little more spacious.
