Hi, just found this site recently and joined today. There looks to be a lot to learn here and to share here. I built my dream garage 4 years ago, a barn style pole building. The Amish boys from PA. had the 26' X 28' shell up in 7 work days. It's got a 12' ceiling so I could install a four posted lift. After seeing how much room they took up, I decided two years ago to put up a two posted Mohawk asymetrical lift.

My best friend helped me finish off the inside. We studded out the walls and put up homasote sheets up on two walls. I wanted to be able to pin up my posters. The third wall has sheet rock as a fire wall.

I found a type of suspended ceiling at Lowes that nails tracks onto the rafters. The 2' x 4' ceiling tiles are locked in with filler strips. With the walls painted white, a white ceiling, the metal halide lights make it like it was high noon at midnight.

We've got British cars. Since they're small, I put them on skates and roll them in one bay sideways. I fit four cars in the one bay. This leaves the other side open to use my lift.

Thats enough yakking for one night.
