I have an old monkey wrench trying to get help with the date it was made and how to Tell if it was one used by the railroad. I have been told it was made mid 1850s and was used by the railroad but have no paperwork to help with this information. Also if it holds value. I clean out old businesses and buildings of to make a living I never get paid cash In return I am given whatever I clean out and haul away this was in an old part store in Jasper Tennessee the man passed and the family let it sit for 30 years before deciding to sell and didn't want anything in building when I came across it the granddaughter said her great grandfather worked on the railroad in 1800s in the west and moved his family to Tennessee in 1903 where her grandfather...the son also worked on railroad but in Chattanooga Tennessee and didn't know witch one it belonged to but gave it to me. I desperately need help with this. Thanks
