In the long lost time way back in 2008 I was working industrial maintenance. We had started using the parker system all over the building. I don't recall what machine it was but the OEM had used parker barb fittings and hose. The hose was showing wear and one of the maintenance technicians replaced the hose (proper parker hose) but put a hose clamp on it. Long story short the hose developed a tear and came off and ended up injuring the operator somehow. There was a huge kerfuffle about how the hose could have come loose like that being new. A lawsuit was filed the whole nine yards, at the end the company was found liable for the failure because the tech had used a non-approved hose clamp that was completely unnecessary. We used barbed fittings for water and current in the induction units.
Parker hose and fittings require no clamps at the 100 psi water pressure. Signs of clamping violates the warranty.
with the proper hose. The hose brand and model must match the fitting. They are rated to 150PSI
they did not come with paperwork, and the specs /instructions in the link above do not say anything about what the proper hose is. What I have is rubber with a single weave reinforced 3/8” hose, 200 or 300 PSI, the fittings arewith the proper hose. The hose brand and model must match the fitting.
We used them by the truck load in the factory I worked at for air lines and air whips with no issue until some idiots would put other types of hose on them.

only good for 150. My air does not go above 120PSI. So far they are working as well or better as the Kiutch crimped swivel.
