Any Ideas?

Hey guys. I'm going to be building a shop at my dads house now too. I'm just using 1 bay, i'm building the shop there to build a 3rd gen camaro My garage at my moms house doesn't have enough space with my truck and quad in there. Any idea for this new shop would be appreciated. I'm excited to start. I'm putting plywood on the outside barnwalls and tarps on the rest. I'm going to have a heater in there, good lighting, painted floor. Any other ideas? The plywood pile is moving. The shop is going to go from the 6x6 beams to the wall, then the door to basically the white mercury convertible. thanks guys

I could make a lot of suggestions, but without knowing your budget, its a little bit of a shot in the dark.

If you are going to be working on your car, things like a 2 post lift, 240v outlets for compressor, welder, etc will be important. Good lighting will be essential. If you are going to be working in the winter, I would look into some insulation.

A good floor stain/coating/etc might be good too before you start because I can imagine the floor getting really really dirty working on the car - which will make the concrete a bear to clean for any future floor coatings. Maybe just throw down a tarp/sheet under the car?

Those are my ideas! If you can provide some more information, that might help.

Is this a permanent shop set up or temporary? I'd spent the money on the car project if it's temporary, If that's the case set up the tarps with temporary lighting on stands like this

going to be permenant. always in use. just first project is 3rd gen camaro. we just finished our 70 mach 1. i'm only 16, i know that will defintley change ideas/opinions. thanks guys. defintley going to get some good lighting
