I have a Armstrong ratchet that is a 36 tooth with a broken selector.
This is a non quick release ratchet model #11-972.
After reading many threads here and on GG, I did find one thread that mentioned a Snap On kit would fit in this ratchet.

Anyone know which Snap On kit will fit? I really just need the selector, but I would be willing to purchase a SO kit if one will fit.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I would try to find a Armstrong dealer near you. Probably you could Google Armstrong tools and get some information from their customer service. OTH, you could just order a kit from them, or possibly they will just honor the warrenty and send you a kit or even a new ratchet.

It is an older ratchet. I checked the Armstrong website for a kit. I checked eBay and some other retailers that had the kIt in stock, they were waaaay too expensive.
That is why I am looking at the Snap On angle,I can get a kit from them for $10, which I feel is a fair price.
I do have a Matco dealer, but this is not a Matco ratchet, and I do not believe Matco used this design,

I'd be interested to know the answer to this question. I have an Armstrong F-91 that needs a selector. It's no longer available. It's a great ratchet that I'd like to put back into service.
