Atlas 53 Return Spring + Cap

Hi there
I just acquired an Atlas 53 Drill press that was missing the Quill Return Spring and Cap. This has resulted in the Quill having a really notchy up / down motion in the middle of the travel. Would anyone have this part or have any suggestions on how to fabricate using modern parts? Dimensions of the spring would be a great place for me to start

I have an Atlas 53 in storage (needs repair) but I believe it has the pieces you're looking for and I could take some measurements for you eventually.
