Hi guys,

Just wondering what you other Aussies "paint" your floor with.
I do custom paint, airbrush, mechanical as well as fab work.
From what I have seen epoxy is too cost prohibative and also will not withstand welding slag etc. I have heard too many horror stories about paving paint etc.
I have found a product which seems to fit the bill.

From what they have told me it is a penetrating sealer, as most of the product will be in the concrete (not on top) it tends to be tougher and more chip resistant. To coat my workshop (100sqm) it works out at about $500 this is 2 X 20l of sealer and 1 X 20l of thinner the problems are I cant find any references to people who have used it and that the QLD distributer does not carry it, so the melbourne company wants $600 freight! I'm not willing to pay $200 per drum delivery.
What are your thoughts? know a decent courier? is there a product you could recommend that would be better?

Cheers,
Jez

Thanks Mate, epoxy is not good for my application. Freight in Australia is a joke at the best of times, but I suspect that this is just added profit margin.

Met a distributor from Australia last week at the Concrete Decor Show. I'll get you his info this weekend.
