Does anyone know anything about Baker tools? Made in USA. I picked up a set of slipjoint pliers at a flea market. I cant find anything online about Baker tools.

show us a photo of the pliers. somebody here will know.
click the little paper clip icon just above the window that you're typing into - the icon just to the right of the little smiley face.
in the window that pops up, browse to the photo. click on it, then go down and click "upload".
when it's uploaded, go back and click that little paper clip again and post the photo.

I have not heard of Baker, but again yes such a company might exist, op any way

I saw one Baker vise for sale on ePay, probably 3 years ago. Looked pretty ordinary - it caught my eye because I've got a good friend named Baker.
Didnt' buy it because my BIN bid annoyed the seller so much he blocked me from raising it! Doesn't sound like a good business model to me.

I have a rare set of BAKER pliers and also a Center Punch
I’m not sure if this is Baker manufacturing company out of Columbia, Pennsylvania.
That’s the tool manufacturers that makes the widley known LONG FISH HOOK REMOVAL PLIERS that you would find in almost every fishing tackle box across America and other countries. It was an great inexpensive steel pressed tool that was very successful and mass produced.
Or the other Baker Company that makes heavy machinery and air compressors. And apparently vises.
The opposite side of the punch is Stamped: “CV” - which my guess means Chrome-Vandanium… right?
Both of the inside handles are marked “FORGED IN U.S.A.”
I couldn’t find a identical set online.
But here they are.
