Base board / tile

I have been on again off again about doing epoxy on my garage floor - it will happen some day.

My dry wall goes almost all the way to the floor and as such gets wet if I wash the car or floor. I was considering doing a row of 12x12 or 18x18 tile around the base of the garage, like a baseboard. My question is if I do this prior to doing an epoxy floor could I epoxy the tile as well creating a seamless, waterproof barrier 12-18 inches up the wall? Any special type of tile I would need?

i would do the tiling after the floor is put down. Just lay down drop clothes to protect the floor.

Im not sure where the link is but someone made some really cool diamond plate wainscotting type self stick tiles just for your type of application.

I think it was diamondlife or something like that.

There is a baseboard product, Speedcove, that's designed specifically for floors that are going to be coated. The floor edge tapers down so when the epoxy is applied it's seamless all the way through the radius and up to the wall. Used in wet areas, food prep, patient care, a lot of places where they want easy to clean floors. Looks sharp also.

The material adheres real well to epoxies. It's available in 4", 6" and 8" heights. Not cheap, but we can offer it at a bit of a discount.
