Another video ranking tool brands based on feelings, yawn.
No tool brand makes the best of every possible tool they sell. Even among the "top" tool brands there are some duds. Its useless to argue Brand A makes the best, Brand B makes the worst when really most of us just want a tool that works well enough and doesn't kill our wallet.

I poked around this video very briefly , to see if I was missing anything.

Nope, I'm good.

It's the usual "sensationalism" that get the eyes (and the data centers), of the world. If my brand "*****", I'm indignant, if it's "the best" then I feel moral superior.

It's like we live in a world of cut-and-paste reality.

I'm a constant tool user for work but not a "mechanic". They left off some brands I use daily in the industrial and electrical fields but the one thing that stuck out to me is they said Craftsman was a "top tier" brand until current production.

I would have to highly disagree with that. Craftsman had some great products but as a whole I wouldn't never consider it a top tier. The professional line of wrenches was good, sockets are sockets if they don't shatter, the screwdrivers and pliers were marginal and the majority of ratchets were poor. The warranty was top notch and availability was great.

My first tool set my parents bought was craftsman. When I started working with tools professionally I moved to SK for my "mechanics" type tools, and Klein and Channellock for my pliers. Also many other brands with a niche market. My "beater" screwdrivers and tape measures remained Craftsman for the warranty.

I would also put Kobalt tools over Husky but this is coming from someone who will lose something 10 to 1 to breaking something.

As far as the video it was , the same can be said for my opinion.
