Hello - I recently acquired an old Rockwell International sliding, single-bevel miter saw, photo attached. It incorporates a folding base with transport wheels and uses an 8 inch blade. There is no nameplate on it except for the words "Rockwell International Model 83 G 66142" on the electric motor. It works quite well and I'd like to know the saw model number and perhaps get an owner's manual. I've spent at least 2 hours surfing on the internet and have found nothing that looks or sounds like it.

I just found an owner's manual online and the saw's manual is under the Delta label as a Sawbuck Frame & Trim Saw. You were right1
Used one for years.

Not as accurate as a mitre saw, but sure nice when dealing with wide material
