Best ridge reamer?

I'm looking for the best ridge reamer available.

So far I'm undecided over the lisle and kd has anybody used both and which so you prefer?

Is there anything better out there than kd and lisle?

I work on everything from street bikes to heavy equipment so something universal with a wide range is best.

I like the Lisle... I've had mine for ages and it still works great, I like the way it sets in the bore, and the replaceable cutter...
Ya know I just went and looked at the Lisle online and the one they have now is totally different from the one I have... SOOOO I took a look at the KD, and it is identical to the Lisle I have... go figure? so now I like the KD best?????

The only problem with liking KD is that KD is gone. It was absorbed by Gearwrench so, who knows what you'll get.

Whichever ridge reamer you use, use it sparingly. Some of the worst problems we get are blocks where the owner hogged out the top of the cylinder with a ridge reamer till it looks like a funnel. Sometimes even a .030" overbore won't clean it up and make the cylinder straight again.
