Better Search

Need to allow for a better search. It will not allow me to search for more specific terms. I was looking for info on MBC tool boxes, but it wouldn't not find anything because I guess you have to have more than 3 letters and MBC Tool box returned thousands of results due to the words tool box. I tried search "MBC" + "tool" + "box" to ensure all 3 terms were searched, but it would not allow me to do that. I think if this was available it would make the search much better. We use tons of acronyms and have many short manufacturer's like SK and it would help searching immensely.

I gave up using the search feature years ago.I could never find what I was looking for with it.Always ended up with a ton of results that had nothing to do with what I wanted.

try using google with your search words and add garage journal............works for searching stuff in free parking that isn't archived here..........

Better yet, add "site:garagejournal.com" to your google query to search only within the site.

I'm thinking the search feature is part of the forum software and can't be changed, but I agree, it would be nice if guys could search under 'SK' so that they can see all the broken and defective tools.
