Picked these up at a resale shop the other week. Both say: big boy 8250 made in the usa guaranteed unbreakable. I find it odd that both are 8250 but are different length and the handles are slightly different. The handles are exceptionally long compared to a regular screwdriver. Wondering if anyone else has seen or owned any.

They remind me of Rosco's "Two Fister" screwdrivers that was orange and black handled.

I especially like the guaranteed "unbreakable". I feel like I'm missing some where in really small letters " when used properly " lol

Yeah, like when "lifetime warranty" actually means "the lifetime as determined by the manufacturer".:wtf:

I got to this site on a Google search out of curiosity because I have a broken Big Boy screwdriver that I came across while sorting some stuff in my garage. Mine is marked 8253 and it looks like the handle just exploded, but the guarantee information is still readable. At this point, I am not sure where I got it--probably from my wife's father's toolbox. He died in 1955, so maybe it did last his lifetime.

This thread needs to be updated every decade or so. Found this guy at a garage sale. It's 13.5 inches long.

Markings are:
Big Boy 8253
Made In U.S.A.
