Tallying up outfitting a 3rd garage with your usual run of the mill tools...
I'm looking to Add a set of Bondhus Torx and Allen 3/8 Sockets. Having some etorx would be nice

Running the Math, maybe I shold take another look at VIM or even the Capri set.

The hex I should be fine across most brands, but with Torx, it's wanna those IME, that is worth the spend

I've had Cornwell relabled VIM Torx bits for years and they've been great. I then bought the VIM master hex bit set and they've been great as well. My long hex bits are Proto, but I can't say they're any better than the VIM stuff.

I have Vim, Tekton, and Capri; all are very durable. The only thing I don't like about Tekton is that they don't make one complete 1/4-1/2 drive set and instead break them up into three sets; if you buy all three you'll have a lot of overlap, and I'm not going to use a 1/4 drive 8mm bit or a 1/2 drive 6mm bit; because of that, I'd recommend Capri or Vim. All three use S2 bits and are excellent quality. This is a fairly common topic and most recommend Vim, Tekton, Capri, or Snap On if you have truck access for easy warranty.

I've never used the Tekton or Capri bits but I did end up ordering the Master Bit Set from Capri yesterday.
It was fairly -complete, all in a case/ Here's hoping the case holds the bits decent and it's not one where when you flip the lid open, 1/4 of the bits come loose off the top cover.

It's mainly for a garage where we may stay longer in the summer, so its use case is not as much....However, IME, the good torx bits are worth the extra spend.

My main bits are from Hazet and they have help up very well.
The Wiha's one.....meh.....

The Capri set seems very complete and looks like a winner. Check in later after you get a chance to use them.

My VIM half height kit has gotten me out of some ##$$%%$ situations. Pay the money. You will reap returns tenfold.

VIM half cut are my preference for price and utility. Really anything S2 steel is going to work well. Sometimes the half cut style are a hindrance, so consider your expected use before purchase.
