Hello all, wanted to say hi and hopefully I can get some help here. I'm extremely new to the whole small engine scooter scene and a couple asked me if I could take a look at there's and fix a couple of things. Now I do some work on cars, so I thought what the hell how hard can it be. Now I am beyond lost. I read some other forums about hard starting and all that and read that adjusting the valve lash would fix the issue however all the specs I have been given are not working or I'm a complete ***** and am not adjusting them correctly. I've done the .0003 in to .0004 ex and it will start extremely rough idle for like 20 seconds and die and it just gets harder to start each time after that. I've tried mixing and matching numbers and nothing the best I have been able to get was .006 in to .008 ex and that idled really good however again as soon as I trie to give it throttle it dies immediately. I replaced the carb and fuel filter, the peacock does work and replaced intake gasket o-ring. No broken vacuum lines. This scoot has the 157-qmj-3 150cc its an 2007-2008. Any help would be grateful

Try posting your problem in "Free Parking". I think a lot more people check that area every day
