I have 2 bosch drills that are ni-cad. love em... 2 yrs ago I bought 2 sets of the li-ion drill impact sets. no comparison at all to the ni-cad. performance was terrible... I took them back & am still using the ni-cads.

I have the little pocket driver and since I got it I never use my 18v drill to drive screws, the Bosch is lightweight and drives fasteners great. I have a small Jacobs chuck with a 1/4 hex shaft on it that I'll use once in a while when drilling holes in soft material, however the driver doesn't spin real fast so drilling holes in metal etc would probably take a while.
