After flipping thru this little catalog I uploaded yesterday I realized that while my assumption was correct abt my bottom box being the heavy duty version, my top box has a total of 10 slide out drawers, and the catalog only shows a maximum of 9 drawers, no mention of a tenth drawer anywhere. While fishing thru some old online auctions that had sold an MBC box I ran across the exact same setup as mine, the only difference was the box that was sold at this auction, had different badging than mine.my box Has 1 badge per box, they are from what I can tell the standard badging for MBC for that time period. Now the badging on the other box had the MBC logo it incorporated the word el Dorado as part of the badging..the box was no different than mine in any manner that I could see from the pics that were taken at auction, same bottom,with same amount of Drawers, same anodized pull handles, and it to had 10 drawers on the top box. I'm hoping maybe someone can Shed a little light on the Eldorado version of this box. Both of my boxes were manufactured in 1972, im assuming the Eldorado was produced after that, almost impossible to find any info on these online.
