You're still heavily reliant on the rigidity of the spring w that setup. Probably ok for the street, but not off-road high torque applications. You need two attachment points at the axle. The front half of the spring can still bow into a "U" as the pinion is forced up, it'll just pivot around the single attachement point at the axle as demonstrated by "rotational force" labeled in fig 2.

Of course it also looks like he only addresses SUA apps, in which case spring wrap is much less of a problem anyway.

Acutually they are rip offs of the slide a link bars from competion engineering.
Caltracs copied them and got into a legal battle until making a bar that isnt adjustable like the slide a links are.
