I blew through Burlington, KS today at noon. There is a store called the "Stop Light Store" on the corner by the main stop light on Highway 75. Big hand-written sign "Going out of business this week"
I parked and stumbled in to some deals. Chinese tools, jacks and casters - I ignored all of this. Toys and housewares in the windows - ignored.
4 or 5 shelf-rows of hardware caught my eye. Bolts, rivets, staples, nails, nuts, and lots of other hardware. Some grade 2 (not a lot), some grade 5, and a bit of grade 8. All marked $0.99 per lbs 50% off.
So I filled 4 sacks full of hardware - 45lbs worth and I did not make a dent in the stash. I paid about $24 for all of it.
If you are in the area this is probably worth a trip.
BUT - They told me that they are CLOSING TOMORROW Oct 5.
