Picked this up for $35. Needed some more storage (who doesn't). Came complete with pigeon **** all over it. Will post more when I can. BTW, this is the project I was talking about in another thread about Rustoleum Hammered Paint!

Subscribe.

I am going to have to post a thread about some stuff I got. Similar color and condition. I'm interested to see how yours will come out, as I have been thinking about using Herculiner on mine.

Here's a picture of one of the drawers. The holes where the nameplates were are filled in and waiting for more sanding.

Okay - Got everything sanded down and painted. I went with Rustoleum Hammered black for the cabinet, Hammered Silver for the drawers and door and flat black for inside and the handles. Painted the handles just for some contrast. We'll see how they hold up. Hard to tell from the pics but the black hammered look doesn't show up well. The silver looks much better. Again, hard to tell from the pics. I'm satisfied with the outcome though. Now to fill it up!

It really does look good. I'd be tempted to put a big orange Harley decal or something like that on the door to make it "pop". The orange against all the black would look great but so would a lot of things: A yellow Shell Oil sticker, a red Texaco star, etc.
