How long of a distance can I park my camper from the power source without getting too much of a voltage drop ?

I can make a heavy duty extension cord if that will help ..

It will depend on the voltage (120 or 240), the wire gauge used for the power cord, and how many amps you're drawing (the actual current load, not the size of the breaker.) There are any number of voltage drop calculators online, I happen to like this one: http://www.electrician2.com/calculators/vd_calculator_initial.html You can plug in numbers and play around with them to see what kind of voltage drop you will have.

It would be better to provide distance and load. Then people can tell you what type of cord. Your idea of what is heavy duty is probably different than others'

I used 100' feet of 10 gauge cord from my generator to the trailer with no issues. Ran micro at same time as well.

If you are extending a standard 50 amp 240 volt RV setup, then 6 AWG is the wire size to use.
