I know there is caster that can be mounted on workbench with four screws. Just wonder if this kind of caster can also be mounted on wood workbench legs.

What Larry said, or if your workbench is heavy enough, just drill holes slightly smaller in diameter than the caster's bolt, and tap it into the wood.

just don't over load them...they may crack the bench leg...same with hitting a crack in the floor or some such.

The "T" nut has to be supported in the leg, properly

"just don't over load them"....
Agree, for a workbench, with light loads these are Ok, such as working on electronics. The pictured casters will not handle typical work bench work, such as very heavy loads or hammering, they are very light duty casters.

Google "wood thread insert" they hold in deeper than a tee nut, and work EXCELLENT. I have used the same style casters you have on a wood workbench before, and have never had an issue, they are very secure.

I would assume that the reason you cannot use a four bolt caster is due to space on the end of the table leg, the same thing would apply to tee nuts (although smaller than a four bolt caster), but the inserts take up barely more room than the caster's thread.
