Tekton does not require a receipt, nor that you be the original purchaser. You take a picture of a tekton tool you found broken on the side of the road, send the photo with your address and they'll mail you a new one.Misinformation alert!!!!!
I've had zero questions/hassles/issues with SnapOn replacing tools via the email process. Doesn't matter how old, bent, beat, etc....Couldn't be easier.
All of the other brands you mention would require proof of purchase and consume more of my time to follow their warranty process.
I've only used Snap On warranty once, but they did want to see the receipt to ensure I was the original buyer.
