It's going to cost us $3.500 to $4.000 for the carpet and that includes laying. That is New Zealand dollar's which at the moment is about 53-54 cent's to the USA dollar. It makes it cheaper than paint. The room size is about 10 x10.5 meter's 23 1/2 ft x 24ft. approx. They use it a lot down here in new home garages.

Is it by chance green with a black backing? That stuff is used extensively on the porches of retirement villages up here in the States. Some of the guys put it in their garages. Holds up for a couple years if kept dry, then they throw it out and grab a new roll.

I've had some decent used carpet in my garage a few times from houses where folks bought new.
It was great because it was free, but I sure wouldn't pay big bucks for carpet unless it was only for parking on
The free stuff lasted about 4 years each time, then I just rolled it up and took it to the landfill where it was going when I got it.
