ceiling fans vs wall mounted fans

Greetings all from the frozen Mitten. I am in the process of finishing the wiring for my new shop. I am wondering about installing ceiling fans. I am wondering about wall mounted vs ceiling fans. which type would work better? Shop is 30 by 40 with 11 ft ceiling. It will be fully dry-walled and insulated and need to account for the fans before enclosing the area.

Ceiling is my preference. Nice and quiet. Adding a few extra boxes on the wall can’t hurt though

Make sure you don't have the ceiling fans under the lights, as the flickering from the ceiling fans will be a distraction if not a hazard.. 11 foot is low for ceiling fans that hang down on a rod but they work a lot better than the flush mount ones.

For a sealed area I thought ceiling fans were for "slow" air movement to even out the heat/cool for the entire room. Wall mounted ran faster but more effective pointed at someone (evaporation) and not desirable in a dusty environment. Could someone correct me on this?
