Chase Cracks?

Been wanting to epoxy forever, but now that we're all on quarantine, I'm thinking about DIY'ing.

I have expansion joints (that have done their job), which I will likely fill, but do I need to chase the cracks as well? I have a few other hairline cracks that run through as well.

Yes, I would definitely recommend that you chase the cracks in the images. Those are not hairline cracks and should be chased to get the best adhesion and repair.

Have to knock out those little islands in the cracks as well.
