Can anyone ID this Chaz Parker? I haven't seen it in person, so I don't know model number, jaw width or even approximate weight. Perspective in the pic is odd so I can't tell if its 40 pounds or 200. :( I've emailed seller for details, but, as a vice junkie, I'm dying for more info!

I looked through this good page, but didn't find a good match.

It looks like a Charles Parker No. 88 to me but their numbering system went a little wacky. It could be a No.288 as well.

Figuring out those things is difficult for me. Catalyze should be able to help you out more, hes' the "Charles Parker Whisperer":bounce:

Its rare to see one with all 3 pipe jaws. If the jaws are squared out and still knurled, get it.

Hello!
A Parker model 87 is a 3 1/2" combination vise....weighs about 47 pounds...is fairly rare...cost $16.00 in 1926. The price isn't out of line....it should clean up to be a very stately looking Parker....as the country song says "I'm leaving it all up to you"

Bigcaddy - your comment deserves a separate post.....I am laughing too hard now...I must leave the monitor to compose myself.
