Since I've had the RaceDeck flooring, I've been spot cleaning with a Scotchbrite pad, or I've been using a damp mop. But when the big guns need to come out, I'm using the H O O V E R!

I've been using the Hoover Steam Vac for our carpets and tile floors, and I thought I'd give it a try on the Race Deck floor. I was quite pleased with the results. I used a general cleaner solution that I picked up at the Auto Parts Store. I used a Scotchbrite sponge pad to clean stubborn areas.

All-in-all, it took about 30 minutes to do a 20' x 20' (2-car) garage.

Has anyone else used this method? If not, what do you do?

I made the mistake of leaving the area under my lift all white for light reflection under the lift. It really helps out with light under the car but it gets awfully greasy and messy. A few weeks ago I pulled the gearbox and 3 days of grease worked into the tiles, I tried to hand clean them and got bored, quart of laquer thinner and brush did great.

Minor stuff I just use a mop. I do like the idea of the steam cleaner but I work in my garage and only clean the floor once or twice a year.
