Hello, whats the best way to care for cadmium plated tools? I have a few older tools that are cadmium plated, their in great condition but have a bit of surface rust in a few spots. Nothing big enough that a 000 steel wool pad with oil wouldn't remove it in a few seconds if it had been Chrome.
Is there anything that can clean/remove the rust without damaging the Cadmium plating, or is it best to just keep them oiled from this point on and ignore the current spots?
