I've been reading around here for awhile to educate myself.

I have a shop building that I'm debating on what to do with the floor. On one hand, I lean toward leaving the concrete as is and maybe applying a densifier type coating. Or, I can paint it.

I use it for primarily working on cars. I do weld occasionally but would use splatter blankets because even concrete will be damaged from welding splatter.

Recommendations and if you will, why you recommend it please!!!!

Thanks for the help....and I'm gonna continue reading around here too.

Nothing quite compares to the clean-up ability of an epoxy floor with a nice urethane clear coat over-top. I am sure the nice folks here on the forum will agree.

Of course, a clear sealer system will offer the same benefit.

I use my shop pretty heavily and don't like the idea of the coating chipping. So, I'm leaning toward the densifier....but haven't made up my mind.
