Code for wiring Dusk to Dawn light?

I have a MV light with extension arm that I'm going to replace and would like to run new wire and update to code. Any one have photos of a code compliant install or a link to installation instructions?

The current install has romex running threw the extension arm with drip leg then into a steel junction box into building. I'm assuming I would need (NMC, NMW or UF) cable? Because the drip leg would be exposed and some kind of water tight junction box?

UF and water tight box is what you should use.
