Anyone else run a Combi unit?
It's brand new, was replaced when I bought the shop.
It's a Vesta DS, old was a Baxi.
Seems to take forever to get hot water, but I'm told that is normal with these units, by the time it heats and it gets through the pipe, it takes a few mins.
The problem though is in the shower, it's not holding steady temp. I don't know the exact temp, but it's seems to range between not far from "holy ****" wake you up cold to almost scalding. My cold water is about 36-38*
I'm not sure if it's the water heater, like some sort of +- setting IE, it's set to kick on at 100* and off at 140*, or if a result of the water pressure fluxuations / cheap shower valve?? I don't want to throw parts without really having any idea how or what to check.
Right now it makes a shower somewhat miserable to keep getting hot and cold torture treatments.
I have the combi set to 140* water output, it seems to hold around 120ish though. It was set to 120* when installed and full pull hot wasn't even hot enough to properly wash dishes. 140* is wide open with it and at the kitchen faucet it averages about 130*
