I have a harbor freight (US General) compression tester, which works fine, but I'm not certain that I'm really getting accurate numbers.

I was thiking about buying just a new air gauge, and hooking up a quick connect to it so I can connect my hoses that go into the cylinders.

Does anyone know if a regular air gauge will work for doing compression tests.

All my work is on old Honda motorcycles.

Thanks,

If you question the accuracy of the gauge why would you buy it? I'm sure it's within +- 5 psi.
