Just got a new HF $200 oil compressor i know its cheap but im entry level at the moment.

I also bought the powder coating kit, i will be getting a $400 plasma cutter/ welder from amazon.

Looking at HF there were several accessories and im not sure which i need aside from NPT air line of course.

They had:
Desiccant Dryer with Oil Removal Filter
Air Filter with Regulator
150 PSI Air Compressor Regulator Kit with Dial Gauge
Disposable Inline Moisture Filter
Oil/Water Separator
NPT Air Flow Regulator with Dial Gauge
Mini Air Line Filter
Brass Air Inline Regulator
Oil Fog Lubricator
Misc fittings

There were more but i felt these were the most important if i needed them. I definitely wont be getting HF brand though for the accessories.

I tried searching to find a guide for air compressors and the use of each accessory but no luck.

The manual mentioned a coupler, regulator valve, inline shut off valve and it notes that an inline shutoff BALL valve is important.

Forget any oil fog lubricator. Simply put 1 drop (and 1 drop only :D) of air tool oil into the inlet before you use it. My answer would be different if you had an aassembly line working 8 hours/day but I suspect that's not the case here.

A filter regulator and some quick connects + an air hose would be good. I have had good luck with Goodyear air hoses although I suspect many brands would work. the cheapies all start leaking at the crimps eventually.

Probably a good idea to stay away from most of their accessories and fittings, but the 50' retracting hose reel they have is actually quite good. The included hose isn't great, use it for its life span and upgrade the hose. The reel itself should last you a long time.

I wouldn't buy anything else from there. I tried their 3' whip and it leaked from the beginning, a 1/2" filter/reg the threads stripped out and leaked, a coupler blew apart, and I would never waste my money on their air tools. The compressors are good though. Go online and buy a filter setup for sure, a 3/8" hose with 3/8" threads, and buy some high flow couplers and coupler plugs. The less fittings and restrictions the more "power" your air tool will receive. Don't use an inline oiler as it will cause problems when you paint or powder coat. That oil will sit in the air hose, even after oiler removed, and make your painting awful.

Appreciate the info :)

So no on the oiler, got it
Hi flow check

I agree that the more fittings the more restrictions as slight as it may be, in the youtube below she used 2 fittings on the left side of the filter and 3 on the right

It seems most 3/8 hoses come with 1/4 fittings and that most fittings available are 1/4 is it worth getting a 3/8 hose and fittings over 1/4

I found this to be helpful as well, perhaps provide it to noobs such as myself
