Compressor Rotation

Stupid question, but I am hooking up a motor to my compressor and I want to ensure I have it rotating in the right direction. Does your compressor rotate clockwise or counterclockwise?

The direction mine turns has no relevance to what yours may require. What model of compressor head do you have?

If your compressor has a large 'fly wheel pulley' with a built in fan (most do) then it should rotate so the 'fan' part blows on the compressor for cooling.
