Well first post on GJB. Lots of good info here. Anyway after reading up on garage furnaces I Finally bought a 45k btu beacon morris furnace for my garage a few weeks ago when they were on sale at menards and now I am wondering if separated combustion/concentric venting kits are worth the expense. has any one used them on there garage furnace.I live in northern Illinois and it gets cold so if it can work better for a reasonable price and considering natural gas is not getting any cheaper around here. but would appreciate any input/info.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but I have a concentric kit on my garage boiler, and like it. The guy that installed it hooked it up backwards, so I've got this odd spaghetti thing going on in the attic to get around that, but it works great.
