Concrete Grinding

It seems that it is preferable to grind my new concrete floor before applying epoxy. The single disc or twin disc rental unit weighs in the 250lb category while handheld units are only about 20lbs. I don't have a way to transport the large units to my garage. Has anyone used a handheld unit with success or do these units result in an uneven surface because of their small coverage?

If you're going to rent the big unti from a local supply store, ask them for a trailer rental also. Or delivery & pickup? They may negotiate something reasonable.
Or get a local friend with a truck or trailer to help?
My opinion, ..., don't skimp & use the little one.
