I want to coat my garage floor with some sort of epoxy- but I don't know if springtime condensation is an issue?
Condensation appears once the weather changes and the garage floor temperature is significantly cooler than the ambient air temperature. This usually occurs for a week in the early spring until the floor temperature gets closer to that of the air. It's not a groundwater buildup- the garage is basically on a hill on 3 sides (2 sides and the rear)- if groundwater were the issue- there would be water backing up above ground around the garage- this doesn't happen- it's definetly condensation.
Is this a problem for 2-part epoxies? I'm thinking that as its a condensation issue- I'll still have it- but on the outer side of the top coat that is applied?
Any help/tips would be appreciated.
