control joints and othe concrete Qs

I recently installed a new slab. When they cut the joints into it they did not go all the way to the edge, obviously because they were using a round blade and it would hit the block. Should I be concerned? Should I make them comeout and finish the job?

Also I was told that the standard was at least every 10x10, they said theirs would be 8x8. They cut 12x12. Should I be concerned? Should I make them come out and cut some more?

sorry for rookie questions, Ive just never done a project this big before and for the price Im paying, I want to make sure its done right.

I wouldn't sweat it. Mine are like 12' x 13' and in year and half there's not a crack in site.

Control joints are usually cut about 3/4" deep and as close to the wall as the saw will allow. When the concrete cracks inside this control joint it will crack the rest of the way to the wall. Nothing wrong with 12x12. Everything sounds normal, do not be concerned.
